Vita
Klemens Klein was a research and teaching associate at the Department of Corporate Development and Organization from July 2013 to June 2018. He has also been a doctoral student of Prof. Dr. Mark Ebers and completed his dissertation on “Essays on antecedents, contingencies, and consequences of market entry in the airline industry” in 2019. During his doctoral studies, he further completed research stays at Singapore Management University (2017) and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, 2018). Klemens Klein has been a visiting lecturer at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and directed several academic projects with large international firms such as LANXESS AG, Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, Deutsche Bahn AG, and AXA SA. Before joining the department, he studied Business Administration at the University of Cologne (M.Sc.), the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (B.Sc.), and American University in Washington, DC. In his studies, he specialized in corporate development, strategy, international management, and energy economics. In-between his Bachelor's and Master's studies, he worked as a consultant for a large automotive manufacturer.
