Vita

Since June 2019, Hendrik Wilhelm is the RMI Professor of Strategic Organization at Witten/Herdecke University.

Hendrik Wilhelm studied Business Administration at a graduate level at Mannheim University and the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Following his graduation as Diplom-Kaufmann, he moved on to work as a research and teaching assistant at the Seminar for Business Administration, Corporate Development and Organization at the University of Cologne. In his dissertation, Hendrik Wilhelm studied antecedents, processes, and outcomes of organizational routine change. From September to December 2012, he was a Visiting Doctoral Student at the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge. In January 2014, he completed his doctoral studies.

Upon completion of his doctorate, Hendrik Wilhelm became a Habilitand at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Cologne. During this time he was a guest lecturer at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen and Mannheim University. From November to December 2016, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge and from February to April 2018 a visiting professor at the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto. In December 2018, he completed his Habilitation and was awarded the Venia Legendi for Business Administration.
