Vita
Since October 2016, Thorsten Semrau is acting as the Professor of Management at Trier University.
Thorsten Semrau studied business administration and psychology. He was a research and teaching assistant at the Seminar for Corporate Development and Organization and received his doctorate in 2010. From April 2011 until December 2016 Thorsten Semrau was an Assistant Professor at the University of Cologne, since January 2013 he served as the Ernst & Young Endowed Assistant Professor for Business Administration and Corporate Development.
From 2008 until 2011, Thorsten Semrau was a lecturer for industrial and organizational psychology at the Fresenius University of Applied Science. In 2014 and 2015 he was a lecturer in the field of organization at the Center for Doctoral Studies, University of Mannheim. From February until April of 2011, he was a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Rowan University, New Jersey, USA and from September to November 2014 a Visiting Associate at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK. In the summer term of 2015, Thorsten Semrau served as a Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
